Maurizio Baglini, born in Pisa, Italy, in 1975, is an Italian pianist. At age 24, he won the "World Music Piano Master" prize at Monte-Carlo, launching his international career. He performed extensively across Europe, America, and Asia, both as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles, in venues such as the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Salle Gaveau in Paris, and the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.
Maurizio Baglini has released several notable albums, including RĂªves, a collection of Liszt's piano masterpieces, which won the Liszt Year Prize in France, and recordings of Brahm's cello and piano sonatas. He has played on a Fazioli grand piano and recorded for Decca.
