Maggie Blanchard, born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, is a Canadian gospel singer. She emigrated to Quebec, Canada during her adolescence and released her first 45-tours record at age 16. In 1999, she released her debut solo album Libère. In 2001, Blanchard contributed to the collective album Expressions de louange, followed by her second solo release Pour tout ce que tu es in 2004. She has toured extensively with artists such as Kirk Franklin and Olivier Cheuwa, performing in countries including France, Côte d'Ivoire, Madagascar, the United States, and Haiti. Blanchard is known for her advocacy of musique de louange focused on spiritual emancipation and has donated a portion of her earnings to organizations supporting children, such as Compassion and Vision Mondiale.
