Paper Lions is a Canadian indie rock band formed in 2004 in Belfast, Prince Edward Island. They originally started as Chucky Danger Band. Their debut full-length album, Colour, was released in 2006 under the name Chucky Danger. In February 2008, they officially changed their name to Paper Lions and released several notable albums including Trophies (2010), which appeared on the !Earshot National Top 50 Chart. Their song "Stay Here for a While" made them finalists in the 2010 John Lennon Songwriting Competition. In 2014, their album My Friends (2013) was named Album of the Year at the Music Prince Edward Island awards. Their subsequent albums include At Long Creek (2012), Full Colour (2016), At Long Creek II (2018), and Stay Together (2019).
