Nitefire are a Los Angeles rock duo with dreams to take on the world. Vocalist/guitarist Nico Geyer and bassist Luke White have a unique musical relationship that defies definition. They craft music that fuses the art-rock attitude of Blur with the thoughtful pop sensibilities of The 1975 and the ageless magic of Sheryl Crow. Nitefire creates hits that bend spacetime between the Tower Records listening stations of yore and the cracked phone in the palm of your hand.
These guys have been playing together since high school, having started in the San Fernando Valley in 2017 under the name ‘Glisten’. Despite living far apart for college, Nico in New York and Luke in Santa Barbara, the partners collaborated on writing music via email. A few short years later they relocated to Los Angeles where they started building the band with the intent of making it their careers. They had just started to play shows before the pandemic, but as the world shut down, Nitefire only began to work harder! Their upcoming single is a particular point of pride for the band. It’s being mixed by the 4x Grammy nominated engineer Andrew Sarlo who has worked on the likes of Bon Iver, Big Thief, Maggie Rogers, Empress Of, among many others.
The band is gearing up to release much more music than that though. They have a handful of singles in the hopper, and they are paying extremely close attention to their marketing. Every single they release will not only have a music video, but a plethora of behind the scenes content, all focused on helping to share the unique story of these rock and roll dreamers.
