Eugene Maslov, born in 1959 in Novotroitsk, Russia, is a jazz pianist, arranger, and composer. He grew up in Saint Petersburg and studied classical piano under Lina Berschadskaja at the Mussorgsky Music Conservatory before transitioning to jazz studies at the Rimski-Korsakow Conservatorium. Maslov's career began with collaborations after moving to the United States in 1989, working with notable musicians such as Hubert Laws and Gary Burton. His debut album Autumn in New England was released in 1994. Notable albums include The Face of Love (2000), featuring Eddie Gomez, Willie Jones, Steve Williams, Toots Thielemans, and Shirley Horn as guest soloists, and The Fuse is Lit (2002), with Boris Kozlov, Vinnie Colaiuta, Joe LaBarbera, Hubert Laws, and Pete Christlieb.
