Big Business is an American heavy metal band formed in 2004 in Seattle, Washington, by bassist and vocalist Jared Warren and drummer Coady Willis. The duo released their first EP, Tour EP, and the vinyl version of their debut album, Head for the Shallow, in January 2005 through Wäntage USA. In late 2006, after relocating to Los Angeles, both Warren and Willis joined the Melvins, contributing to (A) Senile Animal. Big Business' second album, Here Come the Waterworks (2007), received critical acclaim and led to an opening spot on Tool's summer tour. The band continued with releases such as Mind the Drift (2009) and Battlefields Forever (2013). In 2016, they released Command Your Weather, marking a return to their bass-drums duo format after periods as a trio and quartet, and later issued The Beast You Are (2019). Notable collaborations include performances with David Scott Stone, as well as Toshi Kasai, who also served as an official member.
