HITOMITOI is a Japanese singer who debuted in 2002, captivating listeners with her airy, coquettish vocals often described as “aphrodisiac-like.” Her urban pop style gained widespread acclaim, particularly with her 2012 album CITY DIVE, which became a cultural touchstone and marked the start of a series of conceptual albums. Beyond her solo career, HITOMITOI is known for her versatility, contributing vocals to commercials, collaborating with new-generation creators, and producing for groups like Negicco. She also serves as the lead vocalist for the neo-doo-wop band JINATANA & EMERALDS. Growing up traveling globally and later pursuing music in New York shaped her diverse musical influences, spanning soul, jazz, funk, and more.
