Synapscape, a German electronic music group formed in 1994 in Bielefeld by Philipp Münch and Tim Kniep, initially gained recognition for their distinctive sound characterized by vocoder-heavy vocals and EBM rhythms. Their debut album, Synapscape, was released under the Ant-Zen label less than a year after their formation. Over the years, Synapscape's style evolved to incorporate ambient, IDM, and techno elements. Notable albums include Rage (1997), Positive Pop (2001), and Rhythm Age (2015). In 2018, their album Still featured re-recorded tracks from the group's early years. Their thirteenth album, The Stable Mind, was released in 2022.
