Misery Inc. was a Finnish metal band formed in Myrskylä in 2001. The group initially faced internal disputes over their musical direction, leading to the addition of lead guitarist Teemu Ylämäki and a focus on metalcore. Their early demo tapes garnered positive reviews, securing them a deal with ZYX Records. In 2003, Misery Inc. released their debut album Yesterday’s Grave, but singer Jukka Huuhtanen left shortly after. The band continued with new members Niko Mankinen and Jules Näveri, releasing Random End in 2006 through Firebox Records. Internal conflicts led to further lineup changes, including the departure of bassist Jukka Keisala and singer Jules Näveri. Their third album, BreedGreedBreed, was released in 2007 under Johanna Kustannus. Misery Inc. disbanded the following year due to the unstable lineup.
