Suneohair, born Kenji Watanabe on May 6, 1971 in Japan, is a Japanese musician known for his contributions to indie rock music. His career began with the release of his first album SUN!NEO!AIR! in February 1999 under Cafe au Label. Suneohair gained significant recognition for his work on anime soundtracks, notably providing the ending themes "Waltz" and "Split" for the anime adaptations of Honey & Clover and Honey and Clover II, respectively. He also contributed the ending themes "Sakasama Bridge" and "Akai Coat" for Arakawa Under the Bridge and its sequel, as well as "Slow Dance" for Sukitte Ii na yo. Throughout his career, Suneohair released numerous albums including ノーパンライフ (1999), 冬の翼 (2000), and スネスタイル (2002) under Sony Epic Records. His discography also includes compilations such as ベスト (2009). Suneohair's early singles, such as "夏より" (1999) and "フィルター/現在位置" (2001), laid the groundwork for his distinctive sound. His collaborations with Sony Epic Records marked a significant phase in his career, leading to the release of albums like a watercolor (2003). Suneohair continued to release albums under various labels, including Starchild, with notable works like スネオヘアー (2011) and 8 エイト (2013).
