Amanda Perez is an American R&B and hip-hop performer born in Indiana of Mexican heritage in 1980. She writes and performs her own songs and attracted the attention of a small record label that released her debut album, 'Where U At?', in 2002. Her 2002 track 'Never' peaked at number 73 on the Billboard Hot 100 but 2003 single 'Angel' went to number 20 on the Hot 100 and number 57 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Other albums include 'Angel' (2003), 'I Pray' (2004), 'The Hand of Fate' (2007), 'Unexpected' (2013) and 'Greatest Hits' (2017). Her 2020 schedule was to include appearances at venues in Texas, Arizona, California, New Mexico and Colorado.
