Druhá Tráva, a Czech bluegrass band, was formed in Czechoslovakia in 1991 by Robert Křesťan and Luboš Malina. The group's original lineup included dobro player and guitarist Luboš Novotný, bassist Jiří Meisner, and guitarist Pavel Malina. Druhá Tráva released their debut album, Robert Křesťan & Druhá Tráva, in 1991, followed by Revival in 1992, which was sung entirely in English. The band's lineup underwent several changes over the years, with key members including Robert Křesťan, Luboš Malina, and Luboš Novotný remaining consistent since their formation. Notable albums include Starodávný svět (1994), Czechmate (1999), and Marcipán z Toleda (2011). Druhá Tráva has collaborated with various international artists, including Ricky Skaggs and Peter Rowan, and has toured extensively. The band won the 1999 Anděl Award in the Folk & Country category from the Czech Academy of Popular Music.
