Last Days of April is an indie pop band from Stockholm, Sweden, formed in 1996. The group gained initial underground success with a debut demo release and followed it up with the full-length album Last Days of April (1997) and the EP The Wedding (1998). A second album, Rainmaker (1998), was released in Europe and Japan, leading to tours with bands like The Promise Ring and The Bufferins. Produced by Pelle Gunnerfeldt, a third full-length album, Angel Youth (2000), saw a release on Deep Elm Records in America, while the fourth, Ascend to the Stars (2002), was issued by Crank! Records in the United States. In 2000, Karl Larsson became the band's principal songwriter. Following the release of Gooey (2010), Last Days of April toured Europe with Air Castles in 2011. Their albums include Even the Good Days Are Bad (2021).
