The Casanovas are an Australian alternative rock group formed in Melbourne in 1999 by brothers Patrick Boyce on drums and Tommy Boyce on lead vocals and guitar, joined by bassist Jimmy Lewis. Their early years saw the release of the debut single "10 Outta 10" in August 2000, followed by the addition of guitarist James Saunders and the 2002 EP Keep It Hot, which established their hard‑rock sound. In 2004 the band signed with Rubber Records and issued the self‑titled album The Casanovas in May, gaining national airplay on Triple J and touring the United Kingdom and United States. The follow‑up album All Night Long was released in 2006, producing singles such as "Born to Run" and "California", the former of which appeared on the soundtrack of EA Sports’ Rugby 06. Subsequent releases included Terra Casanova (2015), Reptilian Overlords (2020) and Backseat Rhythms (2023). Throughout their career the band supported acts such as the Datsuns, Living End, and toured Japan and Europe, while maintaining a presence on Australian rock charts. In late 2024 bassist Damian Campbell departed, with Jimmy Lewis returning to the lineup.
