Omar Rafael Acedo Sánchez (born February 21, 1984), known professionally as Omar Acedo, is a Venezuelan urban singer, actor, announcer, and producer from Maracaibo. Acedo began his career in 1998 by joining the orchestra Salserín, replacing René Velasco. Performing under the name Willy Sáez, Acedo recorded the songs “Niño tímido” and “Morena”. In 2001, Acedo formed the project Nivel 3 and later performed with the group Bacanos. Acedo joined the group Calle Ciega in 2007, replacing the singer Nacho, and remained until 2009. He resumed a solo career in 2010. Acedo released the single “Solo contigo”, which reached Number 1 on the Venezuelan radio charts. In June 2025, Acedo was selected to represent Venezuela at the Intervision contest.
