Choomba is an Australian electronic dance music duo consisting of cousins Christian Benson and Timothy Benson, who formed in 2019. The pair began their musical journey in Amsterdam, where Christian initially picked up drums before moving to Perth and being inspired by Avicii's videos to start producing music. Their first release was the EP Choomdooskins in 2019, followed by singles "Wantchu" (2019), "La Luh" (2020), and "Say It" (2021). The duo gained significant traction with "La Luh", which received full rotation on Triple J. They performed at major festivals such as Wildlands Festival, Spilt Milk, and The Grass is Greener. From August 2021 to March 2022, Choomba hosted the electronic music program The Nudge on Triple J before announcing their departure due to an extensive international tour schedule.
