Európa Kiadó is a Hungarian underground rock band formed in 1981 in Budapest. They initially consisted of László Kiss, András Salamon, and Jenő Menyhárt, who were joined by József Dénes and András Gerő. Early on, keyboardist Gerő and drummer Salamon left the band, replaced by János Másik and Péter Magyar. Their first studio album, Popzene (1987), was followed by Szavazz rám (1989). They experienced numerous lineup changes over the years, with key members like Orsolya Varga joining as a permanent keyboardist in 1990. Notable albums included Itt kísértünk - Love'92 (1993) and the live album És mindig csak képeket (1994). Their career was marked by frequent pauses and farewell concerts, with significant releases continuing into the 2020s, including Annak is kell (2013) and Love 2020 (2021).
