Gilles Luka and Phillippe Laurent form the Galleon duo from Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône). Oscillating between French house and electro pop, their style struck a chord in France and England with the single "So, I Begin" in 2001/2002. The album So I Begin followed in July 2002, but was not as well received as the single.
