Rema-Rema were an English post-punk group formed around 1979, consisting of Gary Asquith (guitar/vocals), Marco Pirroni (guitar), Michael Allen (bass/vocals), Mark Cox (keyboards) and Dorothy Prior – known as "Max" – (drums). They signed to the English indie label 4AD. Their sole release, the four-track EP Wheel in the Roses (1980), featured studio recordings and live material. Notable songs include "Fond Affections" and "Rema-Rema", which were later covered by This Mortal Coil and Big Black respectively. They disbanded in December 1980 when Pirroni joined Adam and the Ants. A documentary about them, What You Could Not Visualise (2022), directed by Marco Porsia, premiered at the Doc N Roll Film Festival in London on November 10, 2022.
