Hailing from the heart of Europe, Frankfurt’s SUN EATER are not your run-of-the-mill Deathcore act. Sure, they’ve got the brutal breakdowns and the relentless riffs, but what really sets them apart is a dash of the unexpected.
After their 2024 single “MOIRA” went viral, SUN EATER became known for blending electronic-symphonic layers into their heavy arsenal—thanks in no small part to guitarist Ben’s background in the gaming music industry. Imagine a Deathcore band that sneaks in a bit of that epic, game-level atmosphere right into the pit. And they don’t stop there. With guitarist Tobi doubling as a graphic designer, SUN EATER’s visual concepts are just as fierce as their sound. Every show and release comes with a distinct aesthetic punch that sets them apart from the usual Deathcore crowd.
After parting ways with former vocalist Lukas Nicolai (Mental Cruelty) in mid-2025 the band closed an important chapter and immediately shifted their attention forward.
With that in mind, 2026 isn’t just a reset, it’s a statement. SUN EATER tore everything down and rebuilt it bigger, heavier, and more focused than ever before. With sharpened vision and renewed creative fire, they’re not just looking to make waves. They’re ready to rewrite the Deathcore playbook.
While the identity of the new vocalist remains to be unveiled, it's already clear he's not just stepping in but is fully embedded in the SUN EATER Cvlt.
