A multi-instrumentalist of Lebanese origin living in France, Abaji knows the secrets of desert blues, which he applies with a guitar of his own making, on flute or percussion. Since Paris-Beirut in 1996, he has been transmitting his art in concert and on bewitchingly charming records. His sixth album, Origine Orients, was released in 2009.
