Submission was a Danish death/thrash metal band from Esbjerg, formed in 2003 by guitarists Kasper Kirkegard and Christopher Petersen. The duo soon expanded with vocalist Steven Qvist and drummer Morten Løwe Sørensen, who replaced an earlier drummer. The band released their demo Submission in 2004, winning Best Self-Financed Demo/Promo CD at the Danish Metal Awards. Bassist Bjarne Kristiansen joined briefly before being replaced by Boris Tandrup. The band's debut album Failure to Perfection was released in 2006 and won Best Debut Album at the Danish Metal Awards. Submission later parted ways with their label Listenable Records. Their second album, Code of Conspiracy, was released in 2009. The band disbanded in 2010.
