Dark Sarah is a Finnish symphonic metal band formed in 2012 by Heidi Parviainen after her departure from Amberian Dawn. The group's debut album, Behind the Black Veil, was released in three episodes between 2014 and 2015, with notable collaborations including Manuela Kraller, Inga Scharf, Stefan Schmidt, and Tony Kakko. The band's second album, The Puzzle, continued the story from their debut and featured guest appearances by Manuela Kraller, Juha-Pekka Leppäluoto, and Charlotte Wessels. Their third album, The Golden Moth, was released in 2018 and included collaborations with Zuberoa Aznárez and Marko Hietala. The band's music is characterized by its cinematic metal style, with each album telling a part of the story about Sarah and her battle against her evil persona Dark Sarah.
