Yta Farrow, born Véronique Rougier on March 9, 1970 in Aix-en-Provence, France, was a French singer known for her versatile and powerful voice. Her musical journey began at the age of 15 when she recorded her first promotional single "Petrol" in 1985. In 1988, under the pseudonym I.T.A., she released the maxi 45 tours "Heartbeat", which was exported to countries like the U.S.A and Japan. She continued to release singles such as "Don't Be Yourself" in 1990 and her debut album Neptune's Child in 1991, featuring pop dance tracks including a cover of "Killing Me Softly" In 1993, Farrow released her second album Je me damne, which included the single of the same name. This album gained significant attention within the gay community for its ambiguous lyrics and was composed by Franck Langolff. In 1997, she achieved notable success with the single "Le monde est dans tes yeux", which sold over One Hundred Thousand copies. Farrow collaborated with German singer Blümchen (Jasmin Wagner) on the duet "Tu es mon île" in 1999 and released the R'n'B-infused single "Do You Like That" in 2000. In 2005, she released an EP titled Prophétie, available exclusively through her official website. Farrow's career spanned various genres, including French chanson and mainstream pop, before she retired from the music industry in 2008.
