The Churchills was an American indie pop/rock band from the New York metropolitan area, formed in 1997 by Ron Haney, Bart Schoudel, and Kim Henry. The group released their debut album Magnifique 400 in 1997. In 2000, they released their major label debut album You Are Here under Universal Music Group, featuring tracks from their earlier indie release. Produced by Mark Hart and Steve Dudas, the album included notable songs like "Everybody Gets What They Deserve", which was featured in TV shows such as Spin City. The Churchills toured extensively across the U.S., Europe, and Japan, performing with acts like OK Go, The National, and They Might Be Giants. Their subsequent albums include Big Ideas (2002) and The Odds of Winning (2005). The band disbanded in 2005.
