Subburayulu Munuswami Subbaiah Naidu, born in 1914, in Kadaiyanallur, was a composer, conductor, and orchestrator in the Indian film industry. He began his career working with drama troupes and learned music from masters such as Rajagopala Iyengar and Subramaniya Bagavathar. His breakthrough came when he composed music for the movie version of the play Baktha Ramadas. Throughout the 1940s and 1950s, Naidu composed memorable songs for films like "Kasinimel Nangal" from Rajakumaari (1947), "Kalangathiru Manamey Un Kanavellan Nanavagum Oru Dinamey" from Kanniyin Kathali (1949), and Ezhai Padum Padu (1950). He collaborated with M. G. Ramachandran on several films, including Marma Yogi, Malaikkallan, and Nadodi Mannan. In the 1960s, he composed for films like Aasai Mugam and Thalaivan. Naidu's notable works include "Yauvanamae Aahaa Yauvanamae" and "O Kiliye Aasai Kiliye" from Ezhai Padum Padu. He passed away in 1979.
