Francesco Branciamore, born on March 3, 1956, in Siracusa, Italy, is a jazz musician known for his work as a drummer, percussionist, pianist, and composer. He began his professional career in 1979 and gained prominence in 1986 performing with Ray Mantilla’s Percussion Unit. His debut album Flash in Four was released in 1988. Branciamore later formed the December Thirty Jazz Trio with which he released notable albums, including Concert For Ibla (1991) and The New Street in Old City (1993). He collaborated with artists such as Lee Konitz, Evan Parker, and Enrico Rava. In 1997, he released his solo project Meloritmoarmonico. Branciamore has also composed music for theater and film, and has taught arrangement and jazz composition at the Conservatory of Bari. He also released Aspiciens Pulchritudinem in 2019.
