Clara La San, a Manchester-based singer, songwriter, and producer, has carved a niche in the realms of bedroom pop and R&B with her distinctively intimate sound. Growing up in the West Midlands, she developed a deep connection to music, learning classical piano at age 11 and writing her first song, "Me and You," shortly after. Clara La San emerged onto the music scene in 2014 with "Let You Go," followed by "In This Darkness" in 2015, which gained traction through remixes. Her breakout project, the mixtape Good Mourning, released in 2017, introduced her signature blend of downtempo beats and glossy, Noughties-inspired R&B. Over the years, she collaborated with producers like Bicep and contributed backing vocals for Yves Tumor. In 2024, after a seven-year hiatus, Clara La San unveiled her highly anticipated debut album Made Mistakes, cementing her place as a leading voice in experimental R&B. That year, she also released a reworked version of her debut mixtape, Good Mourning.
