Traeos was a post-hardcore band from Saarbrücken, Germany, formed in 2007. The group released their debut EP The Aion Drive in 2008, which received critical acclaim, including being named "Demo of the Month" by Metal Hammer and Heavy magazines. Their first full-length album, Mnemosyne, was released in 2010 via Ampire Records. This concept album drew from Greek mythology, focusing on Mnemosyne and her nine muses. Traeos participated in the Ringrocker Bandcontest in 2011 but did not advance beyond the second round of voting. The band released two more EPs, The Holy (2011) and Apollon (2012), and performed as a supporting act for notable bands such as August Burns Red and Boysetsfire.
