Furyo, an English gothic rock band, formed in Luton in mid-1983 after UK Decay split. The band consisted of Steve "Abbo" Abbot, Steve Harle, and Eddie Branch, who had previously recorded under the name Slavedrive on compilation LP The Whip. They were joined by guitarist Albie de Luca, formerly of Gene Loves Jezebel, and renamed themselves Furyo. Their first show was in September 1983. The band released two mini-albums, Furioso and Furyo, featuring notable tracks such as "Legacy" and "King of Hearts". Despite their promising start, Furyo disbanded early in 1985.
