Fielfraz was a Danish rock band formed in 1981 in Odense. The ensemble consisted of Claus Hempler, Nils Brakchi, Kenneth Priisholm, and Jens Langhorn. After performing live for several years, the group released its debut studio album, Shine, in 1990. The 1992 follow-up recording, Electric Eel, included the tracks “Surfer” and “Naked”. The band released its third album, Slick, in 1996. Fielfraz was cited as an influence on Danish rock and grunge bands including Kashmir and Dizzy Mizz Lizzy. The group's musical style drew from British artists such as Elvis Costello and XTC. Following the departure of Priisholm, the remaining members performed as a trio and released the recording Hempler in 2004. The ensemble subsequently became inactive as Hempler transitioned to a solo career.
