Kylee Saunders, known mononymously as Kylee, was born on May 25, 1994, in Chandler, Arizona. She is an American singer who began her career at a young age, inspired by her father to pursue singing. At eleven years old, she passed an audition to perform the national anthem at an NBA game, which garnered interest from music producers and led to her signing with the independent label RX-Records. Saunders released her first single "Vacancy" in 2008 under RX-Records, which served as the ending theme for the anime series Xam'd: Lost Memories. In 2010, she signed with Sony Music Japan's DefStar Records and released her major-label debut single "Kimi ga Iru Kara", featured in the film Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac. Her subsequent singles included "Missing/It's You" and "Everlasting", which were used as theme songs for various anime series. Kylee performed at notable events such as the Summer Sonic Festival and Otakon 2011, her US concert debut. In 2011, she released her debut album 17, which included the single "Crazy for You". Throughout her career, Saunders collaborated with artists like Sam Tsui and performed at various festivals and concerts worldwide.
