LOBEL is the solo project of Argentine singer-songwriter Facundo Bugallo (from Buenos Aires), launched in Lima, Peru in mid-2019 after years fronting the band Conexionistas; he has also been linked publicly to Los Tipitos through his father Federico Bugallo, the group’s bassist. In 2019 and early 2020, LOBEL built an early live profile in Lima, sharing stages with Peruvian acts including Libido, Amén, Mar de Copas, Olaya Sound System, Plutonio de Alto Grado, and Tourista, before issuing his first studio album Todos Los Que Vimos en Hollywood in 2020. In 2021 he began rolling out new material via singles such as “Paralizacelerándote” and “Interminable,” and widened his collaborator circle with “La Superacción” featuring Comisario Pantera, plus “La Marca de los Amigos” featuring Los Tipitos; that same cycle led into his second album Espejismos (2021). In 2023, he shifted to a more song-by-song release rhythm with singles including “Lo que me hacía bien” and “El Muchacho de los Ojos Tristes” featuring Vale Acevedo, followed in 2024 by the live-in-studio set Almagro Studio Session - EP and singles such as “Melodía del Adiós.” In 2025, LOBEL consolidated the era with the 12-track album El Momento Perfecto, pairing introspective songwriting with full-band arrangements and releasing highlights including “Tú” and the title track “El Momento Perfecto.”
