Gleiszwei, a Swiss hip-hop group from Zürich, was formed in 1992 and initially consisted of MCs P. Moos, Mardn One, Martene, DJ Abe, a guitarist, and a bassist. The band's early breakthrough came with the sampler Chocolate, Cheese & Sounds in 1996, which featured the track "Kein Kampf um de Titel" alongside Bligg’n’Lexx. In 1997, they released their limited EP Bumsdaluda. Martene left the group, and Tibner97ner joined as a third MC. The band's discography includes albums such as Jede Tag'n Gleiser (1999), Rapscheiss (2001), and Limmetstadt Bros. (2006). Members of the group also pursued solo projects; Tibner97ner released Captain Teis in 2002, P. Moos followed with Mis Läbe in 2004, and Mardn One released De Gleiser in 2010 under his pseudonym De Gleiser. The group's members were also known for their production work, contributing instrumentals to various artists including Bligg’n'Lexx and PVP Beats.
