Mr. Tyfoon, born Yang Tae-woong on September 5, 1978, in Seoul, South Korea, is a rapper known for his contributions to Korean hip-hop music. He began his musical journey in 1999 under the name Tyfoon and officially debuted with his first album Mi Vida Payaso in August 2007. Prior to this, he participated in various underground projects such as Street HipHop Vol.1, and collaborated on tracks like "사랑을 아직도 난" for DJ DOC's fifth album. In 2005, Mr. Tyfoon worked with singer Seungri on his fourth album, contributing to the track "Love론". His debut album featured the hit single "카니발" and the popular skit "한글리쉬", which gained significant attention. In 2014, he released the digital single "Fxxk You". Mr. Tyfoon is also a member of the group Clover, formed in 2011 with Seungri and Gilmi, under GYM Entertainment. Their debut single "La Vida Loca" topped the charts. On September 12, 2025, Mr. Tyfoon released his new single "Last Summer Days".
