Danny Philip Ross, born 4 November 1983 in Byron Bay, is an Australian singer, songwriter and guitarist who began performing in local venues of the City of Darebin, Victoria. After training in guitar and songwriting, Ross released the EP Exterminate on 7 June 2012, followed by the singles "Old Man" on 28 May 2013 and "Are You Gonna Go My Way" on 14 February 2015. He gained national exposure as a finalist on The Voice Australia in 2013, where he was coached by Joel Madden. In July 2013, he issued his debut album As the Crow Flies under Universal Music Australia; the album peaked at number 61 on the ARIA charts. Ross continued to perform at festivals and touring venues, collaborating with artists such as Jackson’s Rare Guitars, and released the single "When The Levee Breaks" in February 2015.
