Zolotoe Koltso, a Russian folk-pop group, was founded in 1988 in Moscow by Alexander Kostyuk and Nadezhda Kadysheva. The band's name is inspired by the Golden Ring of Russia, a popular tourist route. Their debut album Виновата ли я was released in 1995, marking their entry into the music scene. In 1997, they followed up with another notable release, Уходи, горе. Throughout their career, Zolotoe Koltso blended traditional Russian folk elements with contemporary pop music, creating a unique sound that resonated with audiences.
