Nattefrost, a Norwegian black metal project founded in 2003 by Roger “Nattefrost” Rasmussen, began as a solo endeavor with guest musicians providing support. Nattefrost’s debut album Blood & Vomit was released in 2004 through Season of Mist. This album featured songs that Rasmussen felt were too primitive for Carpathian Forest but suited his new project. The project’s subsequent release, Terrorist – Nekronaut Pt. I, followed in 2005, also via Season of Mist. Nattefrost’s discography includes releases such as Tracks from the Archives (2009). The project is known for its raw, dissonant sound and harsh vocals, reflecting Rasmussen’s influences from thrash metal, punk, and black metal of the 1980s.
