Y'Anna Monique Crawley, born on April 11, 1977, in Maryland, is an American singer known for her contributions to soul music and urban contemporary gospel. She graduated from Eastern High School in Washington, D.C., where she sang in the school choir. Crawley's music career began in 2009 when she appeared on BET's singing competition Sunday Best, finishing as the season 2 champion and securing a recording contract. Her debut studio album, The Promise, released on August 24, 2010, by Imago Dei Music Group, peaked at number 2 on the Top Gospel Albums chart and number 42 on the Independent Albums chart. In 2012, Crawley won a Stellar Award for Female Artist of the Year. She also contributed as a choir member in the film Coming 2 America.
