Cristóbal Ignacio Briceño Aburto, known as Cristóbal Briceño, and born on June 22, 1985, in Santiago, Chile, is a singer-songwriter and guitarist. He began his musical career by forming the band Fother Muckers in late 2004 with Simón Sánchez and Héctor Muñoz. The band debuted at the Convención Beatle-Chile 2005 and released several albums. Briceño also formed the folk duo Los Mil Jinetes with Andrés Zanetta in 2008, and released notable solo albums such as Deja un rato piola (2014), Cuerpo a cuerpo (2016), and Para hondo (201). He also collaborated on projects like Cristóbal Briceño y La Estrella Solitaria and the duo Núñez Briceño, releasing "Cumbias Guitarreadas in 2018.
