Elizabeth Barraclough (born in New Mexico) is an American rock, folk, and country singer-songwriter and guitarist. Raised on the eastern coast of the United States, Barraclough was managed by Albert Grossman. She is recognized for performing and recording with musicians including Paul Butterfield, Charlie McCoy, Kenny Buttrey, and Todd Rundgren. Barraclough released her self-titled debut album, Elizabeth Barraclough, in 1978 on Bearsville Records. The album featured the single “Covered Up In Aces”, which was reviewed by Robert Christgau in The Village Voice and also received coverage in The Pittsburgh Press. Barraclough performed the song on the television program The Old Grey Whistle Test during an episode documenting the 1977 Bearsville Picnic in Woodstock, New York. Her second album, Hi!, appeared in 1979 through Bearsville Records.
