Khusugtun, a traditional Mongolian music group originating from Mongolia, was formed with members including Ariunbold Dashdorj, Batzorig Vaanchig, Amarbayasgalan Chovjoo, Chuluunaatar Oyungerel, Ulambayar Khurelbaatar, and Adiyadorj Gombosuren. The group was known for its use of traditional Mongolian instruments such as the morin khuur and practiced khöömii, a form of diphonic singing. Khusugtun gained international recognition with their performance at the Voices of Singapore festival in 2013 and secured second place on the television program Asia's Got Talent in 2015. The group has released notable albums including Khusugtun Ethnic-Ballad Group (2013) and Jangar (2020). Their repertoire also included traditional Mongolian songs such as "Altargana" and "Mongol", which they performed for the BBC program Grassland. Khusugtun has received several awards, including the Grand Prix at the International Symposium and Festival of Throat Singing in Mongolia (May 2009) and a gold medal at the 3rd World Culture Olympics in Korea (September 2009).
