MGZAVREBI, a Georgian group formed in 2006 by Gigi Dedalamazishvili, an actor from Tbilisi, initially consisted of three musicians and later expanded to seven members. MGZAVREBI released their debut album Me Movigone... in 2008. Their career advanced with the song featured in Davit Imedashvili's movie Dream Town (2010). In 2013, they collaborated with Russian writer Yevgeni Grishkovetz on the album Wait live wait, which reached sixth place in the most downloaded albums on Russian iTunes. The group won the Chart Dozen Award from Nashe Radio in 2016 and the Golden Gargoyle award in 2017. In 2018, their music video for "Promise" was nominated by the Berlin Music Video Awards. MGZAVREBI's musical style blends traditional Georgian singing with modern national instruments like the panduri. The group has released several albums including Meore Albomi (2011), Mgzavruli (2013), and Kamara (2023).
