Shayan Chowdhury Arnob, born on January 27, 1978, in Dhaka, Bangladesh, is a singer-songwriter and musician. He began his musical journey at Patha Bhavana, a school affiliated with Visva Bharati University in Santiniketan, India, where he learned to play the esraj, keyboard, and guitar. Arnob's breakthrough came with the title track "She Je Boshe Ache" for the 2004 TV drama Offbeat, which was included in his debut solo album Chaina Bhabish (2005). He continued his success with albums such as Hok Kolorob (2006) and Doob (2008). In 2009, he released his first live album, Arnob & Friends Live, following an international tour. Arnob also composed film scores for notable Bengali films like Monpura (2009), Jaago (2010), and Aynabaji (2016). He produced the inaugural season of Coke Studio Bangla in 2022.
