Loïc Emboulé is an author, composer and performer of Caribbean music from Guadeloupe. Nephew of singer Jean-Claude Emboulé, he took his turn in the music business, releasing his first album Chimen Trasé in 2010, followed two years later by Kwònik Kréyol. By 2013, he had moved away from traditional zouk to create a new Creole style he called NiiuKa, renewing and modernizing the gwo ka genre. He put this musical trend into practice on the album Génèse (2016), which proved a hit with the track "Nou fiè". Creating a synthesis of Caribbean music, Loïc Emboulé continues in the 2020s with the album Dyalòg (2020), featuring stars Jocelyne Béroard, Tany St Val, Dominik Coco, Shyne, Misié Sadik, Krysstal and others including his father. Several singles were released over the following years, including "Câline" (2022), "Mona Lisa" (2023), "Hindi" (2024), "Fo Nou Bay" (2025) and "I ka pran tèt an mwen (IKPTAM)", which reached number 12 in the SNEP Overseas Songs chart.
