Yasi Hofer

Yasmin Ines Hofer, known professionally as Yasi Hofer, was born on October 25, 1992, in Ulm, Germany. She started playing the violin before switching to electric guitar at age twelve. She studied Steve Vai's techniques through her teacher. At age 14, Vai invited her to perform "Answers" with him during a concert. She released her debut album Yasi in January 2014, featuring collaborations with Hellmut Hattler and Philip Bynoe, before beginning her debut tour in 2014. She followed up with the album Faith in 2016. Since 2022, Hofer has been part of the live bands for Helene Fischer and No Angels.
