The Arrs, an acronym for The Alien’s Right Respect Sect, was a French metalcore group formed in 1998 in Paris. After several years of performing on local scenes and releasing a demo that established their reputation, The Arrs gained significant attention with the release of their debut album ...Et la douleur est la même in 2005. This album featured ten tracks well-received by audiences and critics alike, leading to over a hundred performances across Europe and notable appearances at festivals such as Furyfest. Their subsequent albums included Trinité (2007), Heros Assassin (2009), Dans La Chair Et Par Le Sang (2011), Soleil Noir (2012), and Xpôvoç / Khrónos (2015). The Arrs were known for their energetic live performances, which often featured collaborations with other notable artists. In 2017, the group announced that their upcoming tour would be their last, concluding with a final concert in Paris in October 2017.
