The Transatlantics were a funk and soul band from Adelaide, South Australia, formed in 2007 by Ross McHenry, Lachlan Ridge, Kevin Van Der Zwaag, and singer Tara Lynch. The group gained prominence through performances with artists such as Eddie Bo and Roy Ayers. In 2010, they released their self-titled debut album under Freestyle Records, which included a cover of "Talk Like That" by the Presets. Their second album, Find My Way Home, was released in October 2012 with Mecca Records. The band's lineup expanded to include additional vocalists Naomi Keyte and Laura Knowling. Despite disbanding in July 2013, they resumed performing in January 2017, with notable shows at the Melbourne Bowling Club in May 2018 and Grace Emily in Adelaide in December 2018.
