Alexander Perls Rousmaniere, born May 11, 1976, in Boston, Massachusetts, was an American musician, entrepreneur, and record producer. He attended Concord Academy and Oberlin College. Perls began his music career composing for European dance music artists between 2000 and 2008, including collaborations with David Guetta, Paul van Dyk, Ian Carey, ATB, and Robert M. During this period, he was a member of the electronic music duo Circ, releasing one album, Love Electric, and several singles and remixes from 2002 to 2004. Notable releases include a compilation, Annex Trax, Vol. 1 (2008), and 009 Sound System (2009). In 2011, Track One Recordings opened a remix competition for Perls' productions "Dreamscape" and "Born to Be Wasted". His song "Wings" was commissioned as the theme song for the "Wings Flying Hoodie."
