Boozehounds, a German psychobilly band from Cologne, was formed in winter 2000/2001 by Puck Lensing, Tommo Stürtz, and Stevo Mikus. The trio's initial breakthrough came with the release of their first single "Victim of My Savage Heart" (2001) on Dynamite Records. In 2003, Boozehounds released their debut album Evil Deluxe via Crazy Love Records, followed by Tales of Blood in 2005 and Bottle Up and Go in 2006 through Red 5 Records. The band's music is characterized by its lyrically-driven sound and influences from horror rock and country, reminiscent of bands like Nekromantix and Batmobile. Boozehounds disbanded after the release of their third album but reunited in 2010 to perform live sporadically. Some of the band members have also contributed to other projects such as Lunatics, Tripods, and Sewer Rats.
